‘Hurricane High Life’ is the awesome new single from Swedish producer WDL (aka Johan Wedel) featuring Mawe. Hassle-esque soulpop gives way to synthpop gives way to STRING RIFF! It follows on from ‘Stardust‘ which he released with Elliphant on vocals – both singles taken from his debut album ‘No Wings Airline’, which comes out later this year. He’s also been working with Niki & The Dove, Icona Pop, Erik Hassle, and Tinashe. So y’know ‘ he’s pretty damn good and everyone knows it. The outro to this is pretty lush. We could even have done with it being a minute or so longer…
