What’s your name and where do you come from? This is Thea & The Wild, aka Thea Glenton Raknes. She is from Norway.
Is she new? She’s not. She’s had some success in her home land, but ‘Heartattack’ will be her first UK single. This will be followed by her first UK album ‘Strangers & Lovers’ out on January 12th, but which has already been released in the Nordics this year. So yes, she’ll be new to most Brits.
What does she say about her music? “The songs I have made for this album is “pop” the way I like it; with clear choruses and lively melodies and rhythms. The lyrics may be a little dark, as I tend to write them from what struggles I have in my head. This is a record you can listen to while you dream of falling in love or reminisce about heartbreak”.
We love a woman who can big-up lively melodies. And she’s written and produced the whole album herself along with Kenneth Ishak.
