Four months in, and as promised it’s the fourth single from Swedish duo The Flights. What had meant to be a recording for an upbeat song booked in for November 14th, ended up being a more sombre session with Maria and Fredrik putting to paper their reflections on the terrorist attacks that had happened in Paris the night before. And so ‘2016’ was born. Sharon Vaughn helped co-write the lyrics, and the strings are arranged by Mattias Bylund – who just got 5 Grammy nominations for his work with Taylor Swift and the Weeknd.
