It’s the 30th anniversary of ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas’. It is! And while we’ve heard that there might be some event or other going on in London in relation to it, what matters most is that the artist behind THE DEFINITIVE version of the song has decided to release a new Christmas single. Possibly also to mark the occasion.

A bit more somber, is it? You’re kidding us, right? Even the “Christmas bells ringing” from her tinsel trimmed ch*ff would be more somber than what she did with ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas’ a decade ago.
Ah, ok. So this one’s more of a winter warmer you’d say? A lush ballad with a typically LARGE vocal from the one and only Shirley Clamp. More ‘Another Winter Night‘ than another winter fright.
