What’s this? Sweden’s Patrik Jean is back with his third release of 2021 – this is his new single ‘Numb’.
What’s it like? Three releases this year, and he’s given us something different with each one, without ever compromising on the most important element of them all – that top-notch quality regular listeners will by now have come to expect from him. ‘Numb’ serves up an effortlessly catchy pop chorus that you’ll be humming for weeks, along with a side of some pleasantly bop-worthy deep house!
What does Patrik say? “The song is about shaking off negative energy, getting to a point where you just can’t feel anything any more. With ‘Numb’, I wanted to capture both the melancholy and the liberation in getting to that place.”
