What’s this? Swedish artist Melanie Wehbe is back with a brand-new single – the second song to be taken from her forthcoming debut EP. This is ‘All The Rest’.
And what about all the rest? Contrary to the surprisingly common belief, it’s actually *ok* not to be like them.
What’s the song like? A tune with an invigorating spring in its step, and with an uplifting pep talk on offer, too! It sounds ready-made for regular radio roation during the hotter months, and that’s precisely what she deserves.
What does Melanie say? “‘All the Rest’ is a song about keep going your own way despite the setbacks and challenges you face. I really believe that when a door closes a new one opens in a beautiful and strange way, even though it can be super tough to see it at the moment. Be yourself, follow your dreams, respect your feelings, love the one you want and listen to that intuition of yours. In the long run I’m convinced that it’s the right way to go. I would also wanna add that I personally think that ‘All the Rest’ is a really cosy song if you’re out driving.”
Written by? Melanie Wehbe, Oliver Heinänen and Liam Cacatian Thomassen.
More from Melanie? Last month she released the incredible ‘Like You Do‘, and we’ve not stopped listening since.
