So how does this work then? Well. You take Måns Zelmerlöw’s Eurovision winning anthem ‘Heroes’, and you place it over the banging ‘Ghosts n’ Stuff’ by Deadmau5.
Simple! Not really. This is the meticulous work of mash-up master and Swedish producer Michael Casado. But yes, for him, this was probably relatively simple. So he challenged himself that little bit more by going on to make a video for it too.
And so what’s the verdict on Deadmån5? Well after the original ‘Heroes’ this week hit a benchmark of 100 million streams on Spotify, it’s unsurprising that we’d all welcome a fresh take on the song. What Casado has done to it ensures that we’d listen to it a hundred million more times all over again. It’s incredible.
