*GASP* The follow-up single to ‘Heroes’ has been decided upon? It has. It was a bit of a no-brainer really. As well as it being an amazing track, and one which we suggested should be the next single when we reviewed his ‘Perfectly Damaged’ album, it’s also the song on the album that was clocking up by far the most Spotify streams. It’s ‘Should’ve Gone Home’, and it’s Måns Zelmerlöw new single. His first since winning the Eurovision Song Contest with ‘Heroes’.
What’s it like? An gorgeous piano ballad which turns into an epic 80s influenced track just in time for the chorus. The production on it (particularly in the aforementioned 80s flavoured bits) is the stuff of pop dreams.
Written by? Fredrik Sonefors, Martin Bjelke and Micky Skeel.
Will there be a video? Yes – it’ll be out in a few weeks’ time.
More from Måns? He performed ‘Should’ve Gone Home’ for the first time on Swedish TV last week – and you can watch that below.
