Week 3 of Så Mycket Bättre 2022 took place over the weekend in Sweden, and amongst this week’s six songs, the highlight was very much Maja Francis’ cosmic take on Anna Ternheim’s ‘Girl Laying Down’. Maja turned the song into what could well be described as a homage to both Anna *and* Kate Bush, sonically – with the final result welded into a fitting vehicle for Maja’s own vocal talent. The best bits, however, are those magical extended piano sections!
