Tomorrow night, Magnus Carlsson celebrates his Melodifestivalen history on that very stage – as he and Linda Bengtzing perform a face-off against each other during a schlager battle during which they’ll both perform bits of the eight Melodifestivalen entries they’ve each contributed to the contest over the years. Ahead of the occasion, Magnus has gone and released his own version of one of them – ‘Se Mig’ which he competed with as part of the band Barbados back in 2000, finishing in second place. Actually he’s released four versions of it! But our absolute fave is the dreamy standard edit – which remains truest to the iconic original.
