What’s this? New music from Swedish artist Laleh. This is ‘Safe’, a cover of the song made famous by Daya.
Laleh’s doing covers now? Of her own songs, yes. She’s just released an album, ‘Postcards’, on which she has recorded her own versions of songs that she has written for other artists recently.
Nice! And ‘Safe’ is your fave? It was a close call between this and her version of Tori Kelly’s ‘City Dove’ – both beautifully melodic songs which we’ve loved since they first came out and which we are so pleased to receive new recordings of.
