Norwegian singer and songwriter Laila Samuels is back with a new single – her first release sine ‘Afterglow‘, which competed in this year’s Melodi Grand Prix. It’s ‘Last Day of Our Lives’ – an epic piano ballad with a hugely strong melody and an even better post-chorus. Best bit is most definitely the final 30 seconds of the song – where Laila hands over the reins to some guests in order to really hammer home that aforementioned melody. Over the weekend she released the video for it – and those aforementioned guests make an appearance in it too.
