What’s this? The brand-new single from Kleerup. Featuring his fellow Swedish artist Ana Diaz, this is ‘Trouble’.
What does Scandipop say? It’s a dreamy electro ballad that elevates via a production that seems to be doused in jet fuel. Your feet won’t touch the ground.
What does Kleerup say? “The melody came to me as usual in a dream one night . No lyrics, except the line ‘I mean Trouble / I’m in Trouble’. This was right before me and Ana Diaz were about to have a session together, so it arrived in time for us to have something to work towards. We connected, shared experiences, lessons learned in life etc, and within a couple of hours the song was writing itself. Ana was able to pull my thoughts down to words which became the chorus, then we both wrote words to the verse part and it became obvious that we should do one each.”
Written by? Andreas Kleerup and Ana Diaz.
More from Kleerup? His new album ‘2’ comes out on March 6th.
