Norwegian pop gent Jesper Jenset returned this summer with a slick music video for an equally slick brand new single. Following on from the brilliant debut ‘Superhero’, and its follow-up ‘Never Coming Back’, he came out with ‘High’. The words BIEBER BELTER sprang to mind on first listen. But it’s a comparison that is as deserved as it is lazy. Sorry ‘bout that! But yes – this one unapologetically BANGS. Written by Jesper himself, along with Erik Fjeld and Ida Wærdahl, it positions him in a different league to his earlier releases. And it’s gone on to become his biggest hit in his native Norway. Earlier this month, he released a remix EP – with the Young Bombs mix already having gone on to clock up over a million streams on Spotify in its own right.
