Danish artist Invader Girl has been disappointingly quiet on the music front these days. But to tide us over until something brand new arrives, she’s gone and spruced up an old banger (!) that she released during her days as Cinnamon Girl. It’s called ‘Friends’, and we first wrote about it back on March 21st 2012. She’s now re-recorded and re-produced the whole thing, AND is giving it away as a free download over on her Soundcloud page. And as a testament to just how amazing the song really is – it still sounds incredible in 2016, and in actual fact wipes the floor with a lot of brand new pop music that’s come out so far this year.
