Norwegian disco lesbians from outer space were pretty much one of the best things to happen to pop music in 2016. After a few years together, Hungry Hearts came to international Eurovision fan attention when they released the ludicrously brilliant ‘Laika‘ to Norway’s national selection. It didn’t win (equally ludicrous), but it’s remained one of our favourite songs of the year so far. Today they release the follow-up – ‘Sugar Mommy’. It’s another hyper-electro galactic banger about longing for ladies at the disco. And we really wouldn’t have it any other way.
You can find ‘Sugar Mommy’ on our Best New Artists playlist.
