Norwegian newcomer Hanne Mjøen is back with her second single ‘U’. After debuting with the aptly titled ‘Perfect Noise’ last year, Hanne returns with the synthpop sound with which she first entranced us. This time around the electronic production is an even more intense soundscape – particularly towards the end where it all goes delightfully mental! ‘U’ is definitely darker than its predecessor – but with her ethereal vocal and melody shedding something of a lightness over the top of everything.
