What’s this? He’s recently co-written Austria’s entry to the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin next month, and now Swedish artist Flyckt is out with a delightful new tune himself – a cover of Swedish synthpop group Kite’s hit ‘Jonny Boy’.
What’s it like? A thoroughly charming track that grabs via the most the most rousing of melodies, accompanied by a matching feel-good production. And whistling too! Veritable bucketfuls of whistling.
Written by? Christian Berg and Nicklas Stenemo.
More from Flyckt? Last summer he released his excellent debut EP ‘One Day‘.
You can find ‘Jonny Boy’ on our Best New Pop playlist.
