What’s this? The wonderful Da Buzz are out with an also rather wonderful new single – ‘Wanna See You Dance With Me’.
What’s so wonderful about it? It’s a song that takes things right back to when they ruled the Nordic radio airwaves in the early to mid ’00s, while simultaneously being strong enough to captivate a whole new generation to them and their many charms – should those same Nordic radio airwaves do the right thing and playlist it en masse. Once upon a time they were one of the best acts coming out of Sweden. And every now and then they put out a brand-new song that reminds us all they are still very much that. This is one of those songs.
Written by? Written by Da Buzz, and produced by Niklas Olausson, who also produced some of their most iconic hits, like ‘Alive’, ‘Do You Want Me’ and ‘Dangerous’.
More from Da Buzz? Well actually, yes – they’ve also gone and released a whole album of the same title. It’s their first album release in 15 years (!!!) and it features a few of our recent Da Buzz faves like ‘Waiting For Your Love’, ‘Tell Me Why’ and ‘Where My Heart Lies’, another corking new track that goes by the name of ‘Put Your Lovin On Me’, a really quite fabulous cover of ‘Here Comes The Rain Again’, and no less than six other tunes for your perusal and pleasure.
