What’s this? The latest single from the Swedish singing and songwriting talent Clara Mae. She’s currently out with ‘Missing You Sucks’.
What’s it like? As the title may have suggested to you, it is indeed a break-up ballad. Country-tinged, melody-driven, and delivered beautifully by the excellent story-teller that is Clara Mae.
What does she say? “The song is all about trying to get out of the grief and hopelessness you feel after a break-up. You try everything, but wherever you go or whatever you do, you are struck by reminders. In the end, you want nothing better than to feel good again, but it can take time, and to miss someone that way can really suck.”
