What’s it like? Bubbly synthpop that instills an undeniable amount of joy upon listening. What you’d want from a pop song, really.
What does Charlotte say? “Working within the pop genre is extremely satisfying, there are endless opportunities to how a song will end up sounding. I can keep it going in the studio for ten hours straight and never even notice how my legs have died from all the sitting down. The chemistry between me and my producers makes me forget everything else, and that’s a condition I chase. ‘Not Gonna Die’ is about not having to be so afraid to let yourself fall into the big love pool. That’s rarely the type of fall you would actually die from.”
