Bianca Ingrosso is finally launching a pop career?! Not quite yet. But in all honesty – hopefully she will!
So what’s this then? Ok, so a couple of weeks ago Bianca launched the advert for the summer campaign of her make-up brand CAIA (if you’ve not seen it yet, the advert is beautiful). The theme song in it was this – a remake of the classic Swedish song ‘Den Blomstertid Nu Kommer’, a beloved tribute to the Swedish summer, recorded by Bianca. Naturally, as well as the advert’s intended purpose, Bianca’s version of the song got a great response from everyone, too. And so she’s decided to release it.
What’s it like? A purposely minimalist folk ballad that allows Bianca’s vocal to shine, with the song enhanced by a rich but never invasive production. The perfect vehicle for her to dip her toe into the waters of a potential career as a recording artist, before eventually diving in head-first. Go on Bianca – do it!
Benjamin would be so proud. Well he produced it for her (along with Hampus Lindvall), so we imagine he is, yes.
