This sounds familiar. Well yeah the record label released it a couple of weeks back but geo-blocked it to Sweden until today.
No I mean the song sounds familiar. Oh yeah – it’s a Swedish language cover of Benjamin’s hit from last year, ‘Do You Think About Me’.
Why the cover? Why not? They’re label mates, they’re Melodifestivalen chums, and they’re the best of friends. BRO Du Att Han Bryr Sig, am I right?!
Don’t. And it’s just as well they’ve done it – in two weeks it’s already clocked up over 1.3 million streams. A quarter of what the original has managed in about a year! And the whole effort was worth it for the söt som fan music video in which they’re both adorable.
