Swedish popstar Anton is back with a brand new style and a brand new sound. After locking himself away in the studio for an age and a half (with legendary Swedish pop producer Rami Yacoub), he’s undergone something of a reinvention. And now he re-emerges with the first taste of that – new single ‘L.I.L.Y.’. The song is a hugely funked up slice of eighties tinged electropop. Positioning him somewhere between The Weeknd and Michael Jackson. But as great as the song is (and it truly is one of his best ever), special mention MUST go to Anton’s vocal – which sounds the best it ever has. He’s dabbled in a lot of different styles, and been good at all of them. But on ‘L.I.L.Y.’, he’s truly come into his own as an artist. The song was written by Anton himself, along with Simon Johansson, and produced by Anton and Rami Yacoub. Below you can watch the music video, and the first live TV performance of the song.
