A pleasant surprise now. a) Anna Bergendahl is back with not one but two new singles. And b) both are of top-notch pop quality thank you very much! Her first new music in well over two years, she’s back with ‘Broken Melody’ and ‘Vice’ – both written by the lady herself, along with Anders Pettersson and David Lindgren Zacharias. Both country-tinged pop efforts, with a fair amount of soul injected to them for good measure. And with good attention paid to crafting a memorable pop melody. ‘Vice’ is most definitely our favourite of the two – possibly even the best thing she’s ever done. But do check both out.
