Swedish artist Alvaro Estrella became one of our favourite new popstars of 2014 when he released the brilliant pop bangers ‘All In My Head’ and ‘Bedroom’. But then……nothing. Over two years since his last release though, Alvaro returns today with a brand new single – and a brand new sound. He’s released ‘Side X Side’, and on it he’s reinvented himself as a more mature pop entity. ‘Side X Side’ merges an electropop production with a soulful overtone. Though with Alvaro’s vocal – we doubt he could inject anything other than a soulful tone into his music. It’s fantastic to have him back.
