Tonight saw the latest episode of Så Mycket Bättre air in Sweden, and so the latest new performance from September. This week, the other artists took on the songs of Christer Sandelin of age old Swedish pop duo, Style. And September gave us a laidback, chilled out club version of ‘Vill Ha Dig I Mörkret Hos Mig’. Quite a simple performance from her, none of the attitude of ‘Mikrofonkåt’, or the cheeky fun of ‘Leva Livet’. Just a cool and collected delivery – but as enjoyable as always from September.
Next week’s Så Mycket Bättre is when all of the artist’s sing September’s hits, so we’re really looking forward that. It’ll be interesting to hear what re-arrangements they come up with. We’re hoping that ‘Looking For Love’, ‘Leave It All Behind’ and ‘End Of The Rainbow’ make an appearance – three of our favourite September tracks, and three less obvious choices for the show.
In other September news, she’s celebrating as today she has TWO singles in the Swedish iTunes top 10. ‘Mikrofonkåt’ is still number 1, and ‘Resuscitate Me’, released yesterday, is climbing up the bottom half of the top 10. Now THAT’S how you stage a comeback!
