Here’s a brand new song from Disney Sweden’s next big crossover star, Vendela Palmgren. Until now, she’s mostly been known only to young tweens and their parents, as she’s one of Disney’s most featured artists, singing Swedish versions of songs from the likes of Camp Rock, Hannah Montana etc. She’s in the same stable of young artists from which Eric Saade graduated late last year. Although she’s three years younger, at 16, so it may be another year or so before we see very big things from her outside of Disney. In the meantime, a song of hers has been made available to stream online. It’s called ‘Count Me Out’ and it’s promising stuff. In the same vein as ‘Naturally’ by Selena Gomez, or ‘See You Again’ by Miley Cyrus (both amazing songs, for the record!). It looks like this is the first song of hers to be sent out as a buzz track to mainstream radio and media, to see what kind of a reaction it gets. Well, we really like it, and look forward to hearing what else she comes out with in the future.
