You may remember last month we wrote about the winner of the latest series of the Danish X Factor, Sarah, and her winners song, ‘Min Øjesten’. Back then we only had the live version of the song to go by for judging its quality. Although even then, we were still impressed. Now though, the studio recording is out there and we’re even more head over heels!
It’s an emotional ballad, leaning a little bit towards electro ballad because of Xander‘s beat heavy composition, and a little bit towards rock ballad thanks to Sarah’s vocals. Either way, it’s a melodically enchanting tune with a fantastic production. And a world away from the winner’s songs that the UK X Factor churns out.
