Sanna Nielsen is breathing the last bit of life into her ‘I’m In Love’ album from earlier this year, and is releasing another single from it.
As is traditional for the season we are in, she’s plucked for a ballad – ‘Just Like That’. And she performed it for Swedish television viewers at the weekend, on Jullotta På Liseberg – which you can see below.
With ‘Just Like That’, despite the fact that the melody and the music are both beautiful, what really steals the show in the song is Sanna’s vocal. In particular, there’s a section in the latter half of the song that she repeats twice, that’s genuinely incredible. Hair-stand-on-end good. On record she sounds amazing. And so for the live performance of it that you see below, we were actually quite nervous as to whether she could pull such a difficult vocal off. But we were absolutely wrong to ever doubt – she nails it of course!
