This week on Så Mycket Bättre it was the turn of the Icona Pop girls to have their back catalogue ransacked and re-done by their assembled castmates of Swedish popstars.
It was pretty much ALL about Kikki Danielsson’s take on ‘Emergency’. She turned in not just the best performance of the week, but also her own personal best of the series. ‘Emergency’ is one of their most out-there songs. But Kikki took it on in the best way possible – by heading completely out-there with it! And Saade’s ‘We Got The World’ turned their hyper follow-up to ‘I Love It’, into a mid-tempo synthpop ballad – which was a bit brill too.
As for the rest of them, they really just highlighted how good Icona Pop are as artists – and how most other artists are better off steering clear of any attempt at imitating!
