Robyn popped up on US tv show, Gossip Girl, this week. And if you’re a Robyn fan, it’s worth checking out the beautiful performance she gives of ‘Hang With Me’ as the drama unfolds around her. It totally compliments the realistic fragility of the amazing track, that we of course all know and love by now. And on the back of it, both ‘Hang With Me’ and ‘Dancing On My Own’ (which was used over the ‘next week’s episode’ segment) shot up the US iTunes chart. Which is quite nice.
Back in Sweden this week, Robyn announced that the Max Martin track on her new ‘Body Talk’/’Body Talk Pt3’ album will reference a lot of her older work with him. That can only be amazing, right?! And she also said that she would begin writing new material for a new album as early as January. Normally we’d suggest somebody with the release schedule she’s had in 2010, takes a long holiday. But then we remember the enormous huge gap of time she kept us waiting for between the ‘Robyn’ album and this year’s music. So yes, back into the studio you go, love!
