PSL have today featured the premiere of the new single and video from PANG! feat. Julia Frej.
It’s the latest release from independent Swedish dance label Uniform Beat (love them), ‘Sober Up’. And like pretty much everything Uniform Beat releases, it’s dance music with a difference, the sort of stuff you don’t really hear from anyone else at the moment. They themselves liken it to that 90s sleeper hit ‘Remember Me’ by Blue Boy. Julia defines it as “pussy drenched urban blues“. BLEURGH. We just think it’s a pretty damn good track.
Funky bluesy dancey bouncey, and with an irresistibly jerky beat. It’s PANG!’s production that’s the stealer of the show here, but Julia Frej’s vocal matches it perfectly, and makes it sound even better. As collaborations go, this is one that we’re very happy came to fruition. And we would like to hear more please thank you very much.
