In 40 days time, Swedish dance diva legend, Pandora, turns 40 years old! Since the mid nineties, she’s done it all; dance albums, Melodifestivalen appearances, great singles, DJ collaborations, and she is currently going through what all great dance divas need to go through at some stage in their careers – a successful comeback! Latest single, ‘You Believed’ spends a second week in this week’s Swedish singles chart, climbing to number 3. And the single before that, ‘Kitchy Kitchy’ was another top 10 hit for her late last year.
But to mark this milestone (just…because!), we wanted to post the most famous and well loved Pandora song of them all. Although cruelly, it’s her most famous and well loved because another artist recorded it after she did, and went on to have a monster hit with it in most of the world. And not just any artist at that – on Kylie Minogue! But yes, Pandora recorded ‘On A Night Like This’ before Ms Minogue (as did Anna Vissi in Greece). And here’s her version;
