Last night on Swedish radio station P3, Nina Persson premiered a brand new song – the second to be taken from her forthcoming debut solo album ‘Animal Heart’ (following the title track released late last year).
‘Dreaming of Houses’ is the new song. A twee and twinkly slice of mid-tempo melodic musings. It’s a delightful little number, with an untraditional song structure that’s book ended by a sparse, beautifully produced into and outro. It’s sooooo nice to be hearing this woman’s voice on the radio again. And ‘Dreaming of Houses’ is just that – hugely radio friendly, with a hint of the sing-a-longs to it.
