Swedish newcomer Nicole Sabouné, today premiered her third single (following on from the sublime ‘Conquer Or Suffer‘ and her debut ‘Unseen Footage From A Forthcoming Funeral‘. It’s ‘I Surrender’!
The survivor of the Swedish version of The Voice, really caught our attention big time with the aforementioned ‘Conquer Or Suffer’. A Girls Aloud meets The Ark masterpiece! ‘I Surrender’ sort of picks up where that left off. It’s got a similarly epic feel to it. It has this excellent post chorus where the guitar repeats the same melody that Nicole has just poured her heart out to. And this really does sound like a girl pouring her heart out.
It’s a rousing glam rock ballad. And it’s making us very curious for the impending debut album.
