Carola has got a new Christmas album coming out next week (the 11th). It’s called ‘Christmas In Bethlehem’ and mostly looks like an English version of her previous ‘Jul I Bethlehem’ album, but there are some new tracks on there and quite a few collaborations too – the most exciting sounding of which is her duet with Gladys from Afro-Dite!
Obviously it’s not the camp schlager album we’ve wanted Carola to make for ages now, but it’s SOMETHING. Who knows what’s next on Carola’s musical agenda, or how long it will take to come to fruition. But this is something nice to tide us over, and show us that she’s at least still interested in making new music. She’ll also tour the album around Sweden this winter.
