Miriam Bryant has today returned with a brand new single. It’s ‘Dragon’! The first we’ve heard of her since both variations of ‘Find You’ (with Zedd and on her own), and a teaser of what’s to come from the imminent second album, following her ‘Raised in Rain’ debut.
Thanks to the inimitable vocal that Miriam has, ‘Dragon’ is unmistakably a Miriam Bryant song, and instantly recognisable as such – from that first line she utters. And that’s not to say that the music and production doesn’t get its chance to shine either – from a captivating intro to a dreamy middle eight, and all the way through to an outro that kicks you up the backside as you leave. It’s the quite the enjoyable listen, this one. And one which bears repeating. In fact, as she sings herself;
“I’ll be your dragon tonight, you will never see me on the streets, hears our records on repeat”
