Medina released her brand new album in Denmark TODAY! That’s it to your right, doesn’t it look pretty?! Anyway, with that comes the release of a new single, after this summer’s lead track ‘For Altid‘. This one’s called ‘Synd For Dig’ (‘Sorry For You’), and it’s already got its own video too.
First though, the song. She’s taken away the rave aspects of ‘For Altid’ and ‘Addiction’, and gone back to the more hushed beauty of ‘Kun For Mig’. That’s not to say that there’s not a lot going on in ‘Synd For Dig’. It’s still noisy, delightfully so. There’s a smidgeon of piano house in the latter half of the verses, a slight homage to dubstep in the chorus, and a dramatic helping of life support machine electro throughout! Although as always, it’s Medina’s chilling vocal delivery that steals the show. You don’t need to understand Danish to be moved by what she’s singing.
The video is in a similar vein to that of ‘For Altid’. A ghostly beach side setting, with an ethereal Medina lording over proceedings.
A beauty as always, sonically and visually;
