Over in Norway, we are very pleased to learn that Marion Raven is still making and releasing music. And hark at how pretty she is these days too.
Today on VG.no, she premiered the video for her new single ‘Colours Turn To Grey’. The song is a bright and upbeat guitar pop number. If you subscribe to the idea that music can sound like seasons (and we certainly do), then this song sounds like spring time. How apt. Despite the fact that the lyrics are seemingly about the end of a relationship, Marion sounds quite pleased about the whole thing. And vocally, we’re hearing hints of Katharine McPhee about her – which is great, considering we’re all loved up in Smash right now.
Marion has just finished her usual stint as a judge on the panel of Norwegian Idol.
