We’re a little bit in love with the song which has just come out in Sweden this week. We know absolutely ziltch about the singer Maria Hazell, other than that she’s Swedish. But judging by Spotify, this looks like it’s her debut single.
And what a debut it is!
Typically Scandi, it’s a catchy pop song that’s beat heavy and organic, but with an electronically produced element that serves as its highlight. And that’s the distorted vocal which has been nabbed from the chorus and used as a riff throughout. But therein lies its little bit of genius.
