The Man Meadow gentleman have just unleashed the video for their latest single, ‘Eaten Alive’. Viva La Musica! Viva La Video! Viva Viva Viva La Radio!
We’ve already given the song itself quite a lot of praise, and the SoundFactory remix on top of that. So let’s dissect this video then, shall we?
Oh boys – what is it you’re so scared of? The vid features the pouting pair running amok in a variety of less-than-salubrious settings, seemingly terrified of something which is chasing them or potentially lurking in the shadows. Well if the boys are going to insist on frequenting sparse forests and abandoned building at such an ungodly hour, no wonder they’re scared stiff. It plays out like they’ve gone to a notoriously dangerous and risky cruising ground at a particularly unsafe time of the day, and accidentally found themselves on their knees in front of the bogeyman – who’s requesting to be eaten alive in a very different manner to what the gents are singing about.
