We’ve written about this song a couple of time already this year, but we’re going to write about it again as it now has a video. Jenni Vartiainen’s ‘Missä Muruseni On’ is a thing of pure beauty, so it always made sense that it would be lifted from her latest album as a single. It’s definitely one of our favourite songs of the year so far. The piano, the melodies, her voice, and the language too – we’re loving the sound of Finnish in music recently.
Anyway, here’s the video. Its creepiness interspersed with moments of prettiness, and a lot of darkness. It suits the song perfectly. And is a bit Madonna’s ‘Frozen’ in places.
