80s pop legends (and let’s face it – the providers of one of 2009’s acest songs too, while they were at it) Lili & Susie returned over the weekend with a brand new song and video.
It’s called ‘Would You Be Mine’ and it’s a slightly camp slice of schlager with a thundering electro production. In it, the girls let rip via a screeching rock vocal that delivers a commandeering melody which could very well be their own Your Nattklubb Needs You. The regimented style of their singing in this, sits well with that aforementioned production – a booming explosion of pink noise that demands to be played loud and played proud. Now do what the nice synths ask of you.
