Lena Philipsson has this week announced her new single – and she’s gone with the title track from her new album, ‘Världen Snurrar’ (The World Is Spinning).
The song, composed by Veronica Maggio and Markus Krunegård, and produced by Scandipop fave Peter Boström, is a big euphoric dancepop number. It’s probably our favourite song on the all-killer-no-filler ‘Världen Snurrar’ album. A classy rave up! And it makes sense as the new single not just because of its top notch quality and the caliber of talent behind its creation, but also because it’s very much in the same mold as her two most recent singles ‘Live Tomorrow’ and ‘Du Följer Väl Med’ – cementing this Ph era as her high class disco dolly phase. It’s fair to say that it’s not been her *most* successful period – but of course success doesn’t always reflect quality, and it’s certainly been our favourite Ph period anyway.
