Young Danish pop squire Kristoffer Rahbek has today released his second single. The follow-up to last year’s ‘Hate That I Love You‘.
It’s ‘Junkie For Love’, and it finds Kristoffer upping the tempo quite considerably from his former hit. It’s teen pop, with a slight r&b edge to it. Oh what are we talking about? This is 100% pure pop. The whole thing is a blast. Infectiously joyous production, big chorus, and a catchy “na na na na na na la la la laaaa” vocal riff that’s wisely overused throughout the duration of the song.
We liked the last single a lot. But that was a ballad. And this is most certainly not. So this is already much further up our street. And we’re hoping that his forthcoming debut album is more this than that.
The single was released today, as yet just in Scandinavia. iTunes and Spotify links below.
Or, if you live outside of Scandinavia, here’s the 90 second preview that’s streaming on Danish iTunes;
