Former Swedish Idol winner Kevin Borg, is trying his hand at going to Eurovision next year. Not for Sweden though, but rather for his native Malta.
He’ll be competing in the Maltese national selection at the start of next year with the song ‘Needing You’. And he finally got to premiere the song online today.
IT’S GORGEOUS!
It’s a supremely catchy, melodic ballad. Funnily enough, it’s the stuff of Idol/X Factor winner’s single dreams. It could have been a Westlife single too. Even better – an EARLY Westlife single. Super cheesy of course, but top quality cheese at that. It was written by Kevin himself, along with Danne Atterud, Simon Gribbe, Michael Clauss, and Thomas Thronholm.

Phew! We thought Kevin Borg had lost it COMPLETELY after that dirge of a Christmas single he released last month, but ‘Needing You’ restores all faith in him, and indeed, in Maltese Eurovision hopes.
