Here’s a jolly good tune that’s just come out in Norway.
We don’t know much about these Kelner chaps, but what assumption we’ve managed to come to, is that they’re a Norwegian middle-aged man band, who have enlisted the help of Bimbo Jones to produce their new single, which they’re referring to as “our debut for the dance floor“. ‘Deeper is the song in question, and it’s a proper catchy dancepop gem that we’re loving something rotten right now. It’s one of those songs that opens with its chorus – so cocksure it is of its killer melody. That melody could be described as some sort of epic stadium rock sort of thing. The kind of tune that Modern Talking would have been proud of back in the day
The fact that it’s melodic pop/rock with a synth production, actually also puts us in mind of Kelner’s fellow middle aged countryman Morten Harket, and his solo output from last year.
Good stuff.
The single is out now, and has been released outside of Norway too.
