We are a little bit in love with this new single that came out in Denmark last week. Karen (a big popstar in the early and mid noughties in Denmark) and her new one ‘Problemet’.
It’s one of those BIG BALLADS. One with BIG BEATS over the top of it, to make for BIG DRAMA. And it goes without saying that there’s a big melody (that deserves capitalisation too, but enough is enough) that’s fraught with emotion. Big vocals too. You get the picture.
This might be a bit heard-it-all-before for some people, but sometimes what we love and need most is an overly ridiculous ballad that gives us the theatrical sads. An one that’s big too. This is fulfilling all of those needs.
