One of our favourite Swedish patrons of clubland, Therese, has got a new single out on Monday.

She’s teamed up with London drag-act-with-a-difference turned DJ turned producer (but still all three, we think), Jodie Harsh. The song is called ‘Mandolin’, which Jodie has produced and which Therese has vocalled. And both have done a mighty fine job, may we say.

It’s released on Monday, but today Jodie Harsh put out a lyric video so that we can all take a listen. She describes it as an uplifting dance track, and she’s correct there. It’s bouncy house, with warmth inducing inspirational lyrics, and it features an actual mandolin. We just adore hearing Therese’s vocal on a jolly good dance track. So yes, especially since it’s been a year since her last single ‘Remedy’, ‘Mandolin’  is filling a great void on this Friday afternoon.

Oh and speaking of Therese, she tweeted yesterday that she’d just received some very exciting news from her Swedish management. Hmmm – that means either some new music is forthcoming very soon, OR – what other kind of exciting news to artists in Sweden get at this time of year? Could we be seeing a lot more of Therese in….say…next February?…..

Anyway, here’s ‘Mandolin’;
